This is Smart Render Somerset's own website, run by Jack, based in Highbridge, Somerset. This page says what happens to the details you send through the enquiry form, and what this site does with cookies. If anything here is unclear, ring 07475 767585 and ask.

What the enquiry form collects

If you fill in the form on this site you give your name, your phone number, the town or village the job is in and what needs rendering, plus anything else you choose to add about the job and how you found us. That is used for one thing: so we can get back to you about the job.

Where it goes and how long it's kept

A submitted enquiry is emailed straight to Smart Render Somerset and, separately, a copy is written to a private log kept on this website's own server, outside the parts of the server the public can reach. That log exists so a genuine enquiry is never lost if an email goes astray, and so submissions that look like spam can be told apart from real ones. Entries in that log are kept for twelve months and then deleted automatically. Nothing in that log is shared with anyone else, and nothing from it is copied to Made Digital, the company that built this website, beyond a monthly count of how many enquiries the form has handled - never the names, numbers or messages themselves.

Analytics, only if you say yes

This site can measure which pages get read using Google Analytics, but only after you have actively accepted it on the cookie banner. Nothing of the kind runs before you choose, and choosing to reject it means nothing of the kind runs at all. See the cookies page for the detail.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Ring 07475 767585 to ask. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you think your details have been mishandled.
